Job Description:
RICH offers you an exciting and immediate opportunity to join our team as Project Manager in our Food & Agriculture vertical. In this role, you would be handling our engagement with agri/food tech start-ups and key sector stakeholders, managing workshops and training programs, assist with project management led by the vertical, and actively engage with the Telangana start-up ecosystem and related government agencies. You will be reporting to Director (Food & Agriculture).
The broad roles and responsibilities will be as follows:
Start-up ecosystem engagement:
- Scout and support agri/food tech start-ups to access technology, markets, regulators, ecosystem partners, funding agencies and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate with team for managing outreach call, develop an active pipeline of start-ups, and facilitate processes involved in Start-up India Seed Fund Scheme managed by RICH.
- Collaborate with incubators and accelerators in the agri/food sector in Telangana and other states, and extensively partner with the state innovation ecosystem.
Events & promotion:
- Organize start-up training programs, stakeholder capacity building workshops, agribusiness events etc with our partners.
- Participate and promote RICH at agri-expos, workshop/conference/seminar, and similar forums, and in client networking events.
Collaborations:
- Build and maintain partnerships with industry, research and academic organizations operating in agriculture and allied sectors in Telangana and other states.
- Collaborate with farmer producer organizations, CSO/NGOs for start-up engagement and project implementation roles.
- Identify potential technologies from partner research organizations and facilitate its commercialization within India and abroad.
- Interact with industry to identify research/product needs and identify potential innovations for research and commercialization.
Projects:
- Contribute towards preparing sector specific reports, assessment studies, curate and manage start-up database.
- Support with managing projects led by the vertical.
- Contribute towards development of concept notes and project proposals.
Fulfil any other tasks in consultation with the management at RICH.
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in agribusiness or business management, withunder graduation in agricultural or allied sciences.
- Should have at least 3 years of work experience in agri-based industry and/or worked in the innovation ecosystem.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Telugu and Hindi will be an advantage.
- Should be a team player with good interpersonal skills, attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Outlook 365 package. Any other packages would be a plus.
- Excellent partnership and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience of having worked with multi-lateral organizations, exposure to working with start-ups on investments will be a plus.

Job Description:
RICH offers you an exciting and immediate opportunity to work as Project Manager-Smart Grid. The current role requires a resource with good understanding of managing projects in the Smart Grids and Power sector. In this role you would be managing the project, overseeing project execution, performing analysis of consumer data and operationalization efforts for pilot demonstrations with customers. This is a mission critical role and requires a very dedicated and capable individual who is flexible, able to adapt to a dynamic work environment and handle day to day project execution activities. You would be reporting to the PI of the project.
The broad roles and responsibilities will be as follows:
- Perform all project management activities including preparing project plans, conducting weekly project reviews, sending regular updates / team communications, managing project timelines etc.
- Perform data analytics of consumer and utility energy data, and draw insights into consumer participation, performance of demand response in relation to incentive mechanisms offered.
- Prioritize day to day activities during field trials, POC testing, troubleshooting and exception handling of products during deployment.
- Work on regular project documentation, presentations, interim and final project reports.
- Create and administer consumer awareness campaigns about emerging technologies for demand side energy management such as P2P Energy Trading, Demand Response, Flexibility Aggregation, Blockchain etc.
- Clearly understand the business requirements of utility companies, define use cases, and find innovative ways to apply technology solutions to their use cases / business problems.
- Present project findings at conferences, seminars and other public forums.
- Work on new project proposals and concept note preparation with industry / academia and actively look for new projects to extend the domains of work in the energy sector.
Fulfil and implement any other tasks in consultation with the management at RICH.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering with 3-5 years of project management experience.
- Experience in leading engineering projects involving elements of electrical engineering, systems integration and on-site field commissioning.
- Hands-on knowledge of data analytics of power sector and Smart Grids projects is highly desirable.
- Ability to work with a diverse team comprising internal and external resources, IoT engineers, software developers, programme managers, business executives etc.
- Excellent networking/collaboration ability, good communication, project management, report writing and presentation skills.
- Understanding of single line diagram and wiring schematics, networking and IoT devices, and software products for Smart Grids.
- Knowledge of control and field instrumentation, industrial automation, protection equipment and generator control systems hardware is highly desirable.
Others
This role will be based in Hyderabad but may need domestic travel to other regions up to 10% of the time. Necessary arrangements will be made by the Company when such a need arises.
